Southern Exhibition Services has literally grown up with the trade show industry. We were founded as Dixie Decorating Company in 1955. Since then, public and industry shows have become increasingly prevalent and sophisticated. Today, SES lays the foundation for more than 350 shows—from small poster sessions to multi-day, multi-building events.

The SES difference. From the very first step in the planning process until the last piece of equipment is removed, Southern Exhibition Services takes a personal, hands-on approach to your event.

SES Team

Mark Crow

Owner, SES

Mark Crow, owner of Southern Exhibition Services, has dedicated decades to this industry and thrives off the idea of going that extra mile in every task. He started at ground level for Artcraft Display, Inc. hanging pipe and drape, rolling out carpet and throwing tables much like the duties of his employees today. Mark purchased the company from his Michigan predecessors and has been growing his dream ever since. His specialty is senior level CAD design. His commitment to excellence and dedication to customer service are what the foundation of his company is built upon.

Aimee Uhrig

Vice President, SES

A transplant of the Washington, DC area, Aimee moved to the Triangle in 1998. She joined the SES family the same year with a B.A. in English from Longwood University of Virginia. Through the years she has endured many changes to the industry and navigated several roles within the company.

Outside of SES, Aimee and her husband love to travel frequently and spend time with their family. Good food, great company and a water view are never far once the office duties have been fulfilled!

Eric Benson

Operations Manager, SES

Above and beyond all contributions Eric brings to SES, he will want anyone to know his biggest accomplishment is being an amazing “Girl Dad” to his 4 daughters. When he’s not building a garden or teaching his girls how to live their best lives, he’s giving his all to the SES family. Eric has worked his way through the ranks and excels with employee recruitment and training, client relations, fleet maintenance, warehouse management and overall anything that comes his way. Our customers love working with Eric and he is invaluable SES.

Vince Pierce

Show Supervisor, SES

The North Carolina State Fair is one of SES’s longest running contracts. Vince is the man behind the show who brings it all together and makes things happen for SES. He dedicates the entire month of October providing service exclusively to the North Carolina Department of Agriculture. His laid back personality and willingness to please the client is what keeps him at the top of his game. Vince is a staple to many of the longest running events in the history of Southern Exhibition Services. He specializes in events such as the Mountain State Fair and The Dixie Deer Classic. In recent years Vince has attained his CDL license and will continue his multi-decade career with SES delivering inventory to show sites. His move from hometown of Flint, Michigan in 1993 proved to be a significant one for the growth of SES.
